Also The Two people That did the Karagana was Whaea Maha and Whaea Destine. Father Phil Cody had a job of talking to all of the very important people out there for the ceremony and he talked on a mic to the school so everyone could hear him.The people that came for the ceremony are very Welcome and we welcome them by singing a few songs to welcome them and we sang the songs That we practised for the ceremony and the ceremony is called Ma wai Ra. Then Mr Fraser Stood up  and talked his speech on the mic for a while about what had happened in the war and some people had died and just forgiving there lives and about the people that came for the ceremony. so we sang some important songs and stood up and started to sing for a couple of hours also A porwhiri is like a meeting for people to welcome the Important special people in and something that could be important in it. Mana was a flag bearer for the S.S Otaki. What  I enjoyed was welcoming the people and the songs and the songs i like was Waiata and Ko Tenei Te wa.
